For our photojournalism class, one of the assignments is to do an Environmental Portrait of a subject in their, you guessed it, environment. At first I had grand ideas of what I wanted for the portraits. Well lit hangers, kitchens, garages, steel mills, you name it. But after meeting Dawn and finding out she did stained glass, it became pretty straightforward that she would be an awesome person to try doing a portrait with.
So check out a quick video about the setup for the shoot, and then some sample shots from today. You’re gonna like the results.

Afterward I did an impromptu shoot on Dawns lake front lawn, Tiffany assisted me with lights. Check out the results.
